I hear that Turk was a very well known supporting actor from the silver screen who was the go-to guy for strong men like Hercules. He opened an elegant restaurant on Street of the Green Lantern in the late 1960s, at which he employed only experienced European waiters. He apparently opened 2 bars when he sold the restaurant to the "Quiet Cannon" (now Cannon's), and required the new owner of the one in Sunset Beach to spell its name with a final "c" when he in turn sold it. I believe his lovely daughter has now inherited this place on the "warf."
